Work, Work, Work! I Try Not To Complain!
Posted by admin on Dec 18, 2009 in My Posts at Working Mother Mag |
Hey single parents…I’m willing to listen to your complaints about ANYTHING for FREE…comment away here or at the link below. As you will read via the link, this post is inspired by the song in Cinderella (“Work, Work, Work! I Try Not To Complain! Washing! Mending! Stretching! Bending! I Try Not To Complain!”)
Enjoy….

My best,

Swati, it is sooooooooooooo awesome that you are writing regularly for Working Mother Mag!!! I am so proud of you. I’m not single, but I agree that it is good to complain sometimes when you feel overwhelmed. Just blowing off steam to a sympathetic ear does make me feel better anyway! I’m having a great day today. Nothing to complain of. But I’ve had plenty. Yesterday, my house looked like it had been destroyed by the Cat in the Hat. Well, most days it looks like that actually. Have a super weekend.
Oh, to be able to complain and actually have someone listen! How awesome is that? Since your comment box is only SO large, and it would take at least AN HOUR to hit the tip of the iceberg, I will make it short and sweet…. why can’t the kids keep their room clean? Why, Why, Why? Why won’t they rise and shine to get to school in the morning, when I have a bus to catch? Everyday, I hear “I don’t want to go to school, I want to sleep…” Well, guess what so do I!
Phew! I feel a little lighter now. Thanks!
BTW love the revised header! Your daughter is so cute!
LOL Vivianne!!! Totally agree with everything you’ve said…I can’t figure out what happens in that last 5 minutes when we need to leave for the bus and suddenly, she digs her heels in!
Best,
Swati
p.s. Thanks for the comment on the site…I am still plugging away with changes but it seems to be taking me forEVER…
