Thanks for visiting my blog!

I am a 41 year old single mom with a charming, inquisitive, eight year old daughter who keeps me on my toes.  We have recently acquired a parakeet and we live in Chicago.  I have been a single mom since 2003, post-divorce.   I have worked in corporate America for twenty years, but I left my job on January 23rd, 2009 to pursue a dream I’ve had for ten years: to write a book! The book shares real life stories from single moms with all sorts of backgrounds, all over the US.  My proposal will go out to agents in the fourth quarter of this year and I am so thankful to be living my dream.   I welcome all moms and dads to join in our conversations….let’s chat!
