Happy Mother’s Day to All the Mommas
Ha
Hello Mommas:
Have a spectacular Mother’s Day! My day began with a card from my little Moose proclaiming that she was perfect in every way because I was such a good mom
!
Then Hubby gave me a wonderful card saying that I was a great role model for our girls…and he also mentioned how excited he was about the Soccer game that was starting in a few hours (what?)….
We are off to a luncheon at a local French Bistro.
I wish up on you no dirties (diapers, clothes, kids, dishes), lots of bloomies (flowers, anything from Bloomingdales), and a minimum of one hour of absolutely nothing to do!
Have a wonderful day Ladies!

Happy Mother’s Day!
And to you too!

Swati, You’re SUCH a great mom!!!
Glad you had a wonderful day … you so deserve it. My kids each made me a CD of songs they selected. I’m still listening to them and figuring out why each song was selected.
Here was my 10-year-old’s Mother’s Day poem, with a drawing of a garden containing a chocolate tree (not cocoa – actual chocolate bars – she knows me too well):
The important thing about my mom is that she hugs me.
She is always there for me
She tells me news
She tucks me in
She likes to go on walks with me
She worries about me (not always good)
She likes to spend time with me
She buys me things like ice cream
She gives me shelter
She works hard
She brought me to life (mwa ha ha)
But the most important thing is she hugs me.
Hi Ladies!
Mandy- that’s very sweet and I would be curious to hear about the songs and the meanings..I am certain there would be some hidden “gems”!!
Erin – thank you for sharing that poem with us – it SO sweet! Kids are so good at being direct – I really love it that the 2 of you have such a close relationship.

Right back atcha Mama – only three weeks late, but really, there can’t be too many mothers’ days, can there??
