Lock Me Up Baby! (Preferably with MasterLock)

You might think locks are kind of a funny thing to write about on a single mothers blog (well a clean single mothers blog anyway :-D )…maybe I am just a MasterLock addict and you are just finding out?  Maybe.  Maybe you thought this was *another* kind of post?  Oh my!

Actually, I am about to tell you about two fabulous products from Masterlock – EASY locks your kids can use at school or you can use for whatever you need to lock up…and they are seriously easy to use (my nine-year-old has chosen the first one you see above).

You set the combination using only the four directional arrows on the lock – that little doohickey dial in the center moves up, down, left, right – and that can be your combination!  At my daughter’s school, they already need locks and it’s kind of a lot to expect a nine-year-old (or her mom, who is chock full o’ passwords already!) to remember yet another lock combination.  (Check out this lock at Masterlock.)

This second lock (pictured below) is cool too because it’s got numbers and letters and you can that’s a ton easier for kids to remember – they can use names, birthdays whatever…and it comes with a little reset ket so it’s easy to change the combination whenever you want to.

Now did you notice that in the photos below how the second one has no packaging anymore while the first one does? That would be because my PUPPY chewed up the package before I could take the picture (see picture three below)! Off to lock up the pup now – bbbwwaaahhhh!!

Talk soon!

  • I got a padlock for my middle school locker the day after someone stole my fancy locker mirror. Sad that we need them, but it’s usually a good idea.

yeah – I think with kids having cells phones and other electronics now a days – it’s even more important…and I like how these locks don’t stress my daughter out!
